DR. BENJAMIN F.D. CHIKES FIRST OPENED HIS PRACTICE IN EPHRATA, PA, IN 1990.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from American University in Washington, D.C., and his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He then accepted a commission into the U.S. Army with the rank of Captain, serving for three years at Fort Bragg, NC.
Upon completing his tour of duty in 1987, Dr. Chikes moved to Lancaster, PA, to serve the community in general dentistry. In 1988, he accepted residency training in orthodontics at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, NJ. Upon graduating in 1990, he returned to Lancaster County to set up his practice in Ephrata. Since then, he has expanded to offices in Schaefferstown and Lancaster.
Dr. Chikes takes great pride in his work and in helping patients and the community. He and his friendly staff welcome new patients, both children and adults of all ages, to receive his experienced orthodontic care.
